It's hard to actually *describe* the experience you'll have at Teatro Zinzanni. The show is wild, hilarious, touching, magical, energetic and heart-stopping all at the same time. The cast is impeccable and you will see everything from the guy who can balance a stack on wine glasses on his head while standing on a chair that is perched on a ball, that is on top of a box - to the contortionist who performs on a rope high above you. They also have an ex-Seattle opera star in the cast and at the toward the end of our show, she sang an aria that was so heartbreakingly beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Most of the show is comedic and the star of the show, "Mabel" (a drag queen) will make you laugh so hard you can't breathe.
I can't review the show without talking about the food. It is a dinner theatre after all and you eat a several course meal while watching the show - the food was fabulous and the menu is created by Tom Douglas, a top Seattle chef.
I can't wait to go again!
