Ok, maybe not the *best* Italian food in the world, but this is a FUN place to have dinner. Yes, it's better for large groups - I suggest 6 or more, like a previous review mentioned. All dishes are served family style and are meant for large groups/families. I've taken my extended family here many times and we always have a good time. The atmosphere is loud and fun - they march you through the kitchen on the way to your table where everyone shouts "Ciao" to you.
The garlic bread made in a pizza pan is out of this world. I also recommend the chicken cacciatore, served over garlic mashed potatoes and the fried ravioli. Wash down with a glass or two of the house chianti!
