This Gelson's was converted from an Albertson's shortly before my wife and I moved to the area and I gotta say shopping there has almost spoiled us to the point we'd rather not shop elsewhere else. It's easy to find just about anything you need and if you need assistance, the manager's station is conveniently located at the front of the center isle. Compare that to other markets which locate the manager's station at the front of the store so you have to bypass the checkout area to reach them. Two things mare the Gelson's experience however. Price and selection. Both problems are part and parcel with the type of store it is and the type of customer that shops there so I suppose they can be forgiven. Besides, very few grocery stores boast such a great deli counter and bakery. And best of all you rarely have to wait in a line that more than one person deep.
