Mamoun's was there to feed me and comfort me throughout my freshman year of college, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It's a tiny little place in the heart of the Village, on Macdougal Street, but there are often long lines out the door of NYC'ers craving some of that nice and tasty $2 falafel. Mamoun's is open almost, but not quite, 24 hours/day, and you'd be surprised how good falafel tastes at 3 AM after a night out bar-hopping in the village, clubbing downtown, or simply writing a paper for class. Oh Mamouns, how I love you!
