So, I was waiting for Alex to finish his workout at the gym the other day. I had already put in an hour, and there was no way I was going to spend another working out. So, I wandered around Ballard trying to figure out what to do with myself. I thought it might be fun to try out Anne's Teriyaki. I've gone by a few times, and been curious. What a mistake.
I mean, I can see why people go. It is a good deal--I got dinner and a soda for under 8 bucks. But what are they eating? Probably not the teriyaki. Placed on a bed of rice, next to some sour cabbage, the teriyaki oozed sweetness. Overwhelming sweetness. If I wanted sugar, I would have eaten candy.
But, I do see people going in and out. So perhaps they are better for other dishes.
