Best Western Sea Bay Inn 9/16/2006

We went to Ocean City this week and stayed at the Best Western, Sea Bay Inn. It is off of 62nd Street. Very clean and nice. It had all the comforts of home. We had two double beds, a small sofa, a table and two chairs, ironing board, hair dryer ( I took mine with me because I didn't know they would have one), A beaurea for our clothes, tv, and a coffee maker. I probably forgot some of the other things it had but I want to tell you about the coffee maker. I woke up early one morning and didn't have anything to do for a while so I decided to make a pot of coffee. I don't normaly drink coffee other than instant. I have never done this before. My husband was going to help me. We put the coffee pod in where the pack said to put it but we did not know where to put the water. My husband came up with puting it in the back. We plugged it in and waited but nothing happened. I thought maybe it was the plug, so I moved it to another recepticle. My husband said maybe the water went in where the coffee was so he poured some in and it ran out. He had asked me about the lid but I told him you can't put the lid on the little pot or the coffee would not be able to go into the pot. It did not work so he went away. I fiddled with the button and the light came on( it had not been on before). I waited some more for the coffee to get made. Every now and then a drop or two would go down into the pot. I looked at the lid and noticed the holes in it. I said well I'll just stick this on an try it. All of a sudden the coffee went down in the pot where it belonged. When I told my daughter about this she told me I had to stay away from her coffee maker. I would recommend this hotel as it was reasonably priced ( $66.00 a night), very well located, nice parking lot, and it had everything that we needed to have a wonderful time at the ocean. more
