I've had Qwest DSL for almost a year and I'll tell you my story. It started out great, after some difficulty getting someone that knew what they were talking about in customer service just to get signed up. I'm willing to look past that. I get the free wireless modem they gave on the promotion and everything sets up really easy. Things are good. I do my homework, surf the internet, things are fine. Over the last couple months, it has slowed down so dramatically and started dropping internet connections and everything. I have to reset the modem then it works for a day or two, but then the same thing again. Oh well. My real beef is this. They wont let you get just DSL, you have to get a phone line too. I dont need one cause I just use a cell phone, but I can understand that. The $11 basic phone line with $19.99 DSL service costs me $56 a month! They have all these fees and charges that really add up. Oh well, I suppose thats how it is, but its lame. If you are looking for high speed internet, check your other options before you call Qwest, if you can get through. more
