When I found out that Tattered Cover had moved from its flagship location in Cherry Creek I was surprised. How could it possibly be as cool a place to hang out, find books and get delicious coffee? But the new location in the old Lowenstein Theater near City Park delivers on the expectations of the old. It's a more spacious setting - you don't feel jammed in with the books, and they've maintained the visual aspects of the theater which I loved as a child. The old balcony spaces are now private reading areas! The coffee space is much smaller than it was in Cherry Creek, but hopefully you're not there to just buy coffee anyway. Happy Reading!
