I totally disagree with Amy H. The sandwiches are HUGE! The $9.00 price is average for a whole sandwich, which I usually end up splitting with a co-worker (so a half sandwich would = $4.50). The atmosphere of French Laundry is like nowhere I have ever been before, unfortunately though, I usually have to order take out rather than dine in, because I only have a 1/2 hour lunch break...
