I worked at the Power Shack gym in Hilliard in the child care area. I was excited to be able to use the facilities for free when I started. However, I don't think the gym is really worth what members have to pay for it. It feels sort of rundown and understaffed...kind of like a "shack". You would often see the front desk person carrying around a cordless phone while cleaning the gym and equipment. It seemed they wanted to have the least number of employees as possible.
There are lots of different machines (some pretty old) like elliptical trainers, treadmills, and bikes. There is also a separate room for nautilus and one for spinning. But most of the gym consists of free weights, which I don't really use.
There is no pool like many gyms have and there is only one room for yoga, aerobics, and other classes.
The childcare room consisted of hand-me-down (some broken) toys and ancient computers. If you do try it out, I recommend the shortest membership, one month, to see if it's worth it before committing to anything long term.
