Gordon Biersch is a brewery and restaurant with an attractive contemporary decor. You can sample their brews (dixie cup-size) at the bar to help you decide. They also have an extensive drink menu, including some nice martini varieties. Their food is also very good. I really like their Hummus salad, which is HUGE and served with delicious cheese and olive covered flatbread. All of their seafood is excellent. I especially like the Barbecued Salmon, Ahi Tuna and Blackened Mahi Mahi. Only once did we have really bad service. We were there at 10PM on a Thursday night and all the staff were eating and drinking. Except for the bartender who stopped serving us after two drinks, told us the kitchen was closed and yawned and said, "boy am I tired"!
