I have had an account at Wachovia for years now, but recently opened a kids account for my daughter at WAMU. I was really surprised at how the staff assisted with anything we needed there. So much in fact, that I even opened up my own checking account there also! They have a number of great checking programs and even offer a kids/school savings program with incentives! Their newest plan offer no fee checking with FREE checks for life! Can't beat that. They also have tons of locations, with some open Sat and during the week until 6. I am a loyal customer and would definately recommend this bank to you!
