Crappy service 3/22/2006

A few years ago, my husband and I went through Home Depot to get a screen door installed on our condo unit. After they came out to get the measurements, we went to Home Depot to order the door. What should have been a simple action took well over an hour. First they told us to choose a door, which we did in short order. Then they told us that we could only choose between 2 (due to the measurements of our doorway which they had already looked at). Then they proceeded to place the order into the computer. They ended up entering it about 6 times, because the first 5 times instead of accepting the order, they would reset the order. They were laughing about throughout the entire process. It got worse from there, although we did eventually get the screen door installed. I have only recently stepped foot back into the store for small purchases. I will never go through them for anything big. more
