Milwaukee is the land of the mass-produced beers. Tucked away in a nearby suburb some much-tastier beer is being made at the Sprecher Brewing Company. The two most popular styles are probably the Amber and the Black Bavarian. The latter being a delicious dark beer. They are sold in 4-packs of 16oz bottles and are on tap quite frequently around Milwaukee. If you visit in winter, the Sprecher Winter Ale is my absolute favorite. For the non-beer drinkers they also make their own soda as well. Orange Dream is really sweet, but tastes like a creamsicle and the Rootbeer and Cream Soda are really complex and delicious.
