This is a very popular hang-out and lunch site for those working around the Capitol area. And it's no guess why. They always have a lunch special and their chilli is one of the best around Austin.
Theirs is very, very hearty with actual slices of meat. They also have burgers (which, conveniently, can be topped with chilli) and other specials such as enchiladas.
Although the inside is dark and loud, it's worth a trip if you're in the mood for some good, hearty lunch.
