When you go to the Silver Diner – Springfield, you know what you are getting in to. Sometimes it’s comforting to have predictable surroundings, a familiar menu, and oldies on the jukebox. It’s definitely a family-friendly place with the music, bright colors, and neon signs. I prefer to go on outside regular meal times to avoid the lines at the door and waits for service. The shakes and malts are great. I’m not looking for diet food when I eat here. So the view out the front isn’t the most scenic (Franconia Road and the stone wall of the overpass), this place is a good place to hang on a Saturday afternoon.
