Checker's hamburgers and fries are so good! My favorite is the Big Buford. I've been to both Huntsville locations, and always find the food fresh and the staff really friendly. A couple times we've had to wait a few minutes, but if it means my food is just made, I'm willing to wait. Location wise, I probably wouldn't eat outdoors at the one off Governor's, but maybe I'm just being paranoid. Sitting at the corner of Jordan and University isn't exactly scenic, but it seems a little safer. Unless you have a passenger, make sure to go thru the correct order line--they have one for both sides! They also accept credit cards now too, which is great!
