Ever been to a restaurant because you love the food, but you hate the service? Not only that, you find yourself going just one more time, hoping the service will get better, but it sucks every time you go? Love it or hate it, that's my opinion of Red Lobster. I probably went 3 times last year, and each time got progressively worse. The last and final time I hope to go there, the waitress was so unbelievably terrible that it took THREE HOURS to get our food. A party of two. At 8 o'clock on a weekday. I felt badly not only for myself and my husband, since we were both starving, but this poor group of people about my age (early twenties) who had the same waitress. It took them about 30 minutes just to get water and a hello. Why didn't I complain? I did, folks! The manager promised gift certificates which were never received. It's such a shame that bad management has dragged down this place. I'd rate it a half star if that were possible! If you just love the food and can't imagine going anywhere else, I'd get it to-go--at the very least, it would have saved me some guilt about non-tipping (and I really hate to not tip, but jeeze, 3 hours for 2 people???) more
