With every service I subscribe to, I am pleased to say I have actually had the least problems with Xcel Energy. I have never called them on the phone, never once had my lights out that wasn't explainable (blackouts, brownouts, etc.) and have always had a pleasant experience with them. One reason I have never spoken to them on the phone is that I never had a need to. If my lights were out, so were all of my neighbors lights and I knew it would be fixed (and it always was) in the next few hours. I always paid my bill on time, so I had no reason to call them and get my bill straightened out. They never made an accounting error, either in that saying I did not pay the bill when I actually did.
