Zaytinya is one of Jose Andres's restaurants which serves mezze, small plates of Greek/Middle Eastern food. The restaurant itself is stunning, with high ceilings, lots of glass, and white walls accented with candles. The bar is ultra-chic, but often very crowded, particularly when there is a long wait for a table. The food is good, and there are some definite must-haves, such as the braised lamb shank. Definitely a great place if you want to go to see and be seen, while enjoying a good meal.
