The Davis Food Co-Op is one of the places I go to get my groceries and food, along with the Davis Farmer's Market, the Nugget, and Safeway. The Co-Op has the best selection in Davis for natural/organic foods, and a great premium meat section (I get my Diestel Thanksgiving turkeys here every year). My favorite part of the Co-op is the bulk food section, where prices are reasonable and I can get everything from quinoa to flaxseed to oat bran to free trade shade grown coffees to any type of spice imaginable. As someone who loves to cook, the Davis Food Co-Op is a wonderful place.
