I'm always stopping by Calico Corners to ogle the fabrics but I rarely buy anything because I go for more modern fabrics and they stock mostly traditional style things. The staff is generally friendly and helpful but it can be hard to get help when they're busy. Their computer system is hopelessly dated and not all employees at this store know how to use it, which can be maddening when you just want to pay and leave! The fabrics are gorgeous and prices are reasonable for the level of quality (though not cheap--go to Joann's flatfold counter if you want cheap). They also sell good quality upholstered furniture and they do window treatments and other custom work but I've never used those services.
