I bought my husband an outfit at Younker's for his birthday. It was kind of like a, but it was that super soft microfleece type material and lined in a t-shirt soft fabric. He really loved it, but after washing it one time, the pocket ripped. If it had been standard pants without a liner I'd have mended it. Oh, who am I kidding, I would have had my mother mend it, as my sewing abilities rival anything without opposable thumbs. Anyway, I decided to take the pants back and see if I could exchange them. The lady in the men's department asked me if I'd like to have them sent to the tailor for repair. Huh? I didn't know that service even existed. I asked how much something like that would run me and she told me it was free of charge. Huh? I didn't know companies did that either. So, off they went for repair. They came back looking like the tear never happened.
I was super impressed by the way they handled this. I thought I'd be given a speech to the effect that since they'd been laundered, they were no longer eligible for replacement or something, but nope, they took them to a tailor! Wow, great job Younkers!
