If you happen to be in San Francisco for Valentine's Day, be sure to make a reservation at the Fantasy Room in Maharani. It has cozy richly decorated booths made just for couples. The food and service is excellent. They take great care in the presentation of the food too. The high price reflects in the high quality and freshness of the food. They have lovely wine and champagne choices. Parking is limited on Post St but there is a public parking close by.
