Lore's Lanes is small but clean. It's located in a discreet area -- behind a shopping plaza off Route 7 North -- be careful or you may drive right by it. I bring my own shoes so I don't have commentary on what they rent. Sunday afternoons is great for bowling. It's not too crowded and lanes always seem to be open around 1pm. The snack bar has the typical junk food - French fries, cupcakes. Beer is available, too. I've been to bigger/better/nicer lanes but this has a nice homey feel. You can't expect much more for a town like New Milford.
