I needed to rent to own a washer/dryer pair. I called around and when I called Rent a Center, they said they would price match. When I got all the area prices and called back to price match, the man said it was "Apple to Apples" which meant same brand, same item. Well, when I told him that the other company had a certain brand, he rudely said " I wouldnt touch that brand. We have the best. You decide." I did. I went to the other place. His method of sweet-talking me into a deal didnt work. When it comes to Rent to own, most people, in my opinion, dont have a lot of money to blow. If they did, they would be buying outright. Obviously, this guy didnt want the sale.
