Worst Airport Hotel Experience 4/3/2006

My message is simple. Don't stay at the Ramada Inn Seatac (Seattle Airport) location. The service was so horrendous...and we don't have particularly high standards when it comes to cheap (or cheapish $60) hotels. First, we called for directions twice and were given wrong directions both times. Second, we requested a 4am wake up call...4am came and went with no call whatsoever! Luckily we had set a second alarm as back up! Third, there is a free airport shuttle that only goes every 30 minutes, despite LONG lines of people waiting. It was very frustrating to see the shuttle just SIT there for 20 minutes as more and more people had to stand in line waiting for it to depart. I'm glad we made it on the first run, or else we would have had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get to the airport. There are plenty of other options close to Seatac and I suggest you experiment with a hotel other than the Ramada Inn. more
