L'Italia is one of the few upscale restaurants in the Staunton area. We have eaten there a few times for special occasions (most recently, on Valentine's Day!). On Tuesday nights they have a great jazz duo (guitar and singing) on the 4th floor of the restaurant.
The dinner menu is expensive (for Staunton standards), but they serve great lunches at very affordable prices as well. The only item that I do not recommend is their Eggplant Parmesan. I typically love this dish, but it was very soggy when I got it at L'Italia. An item that I LOVE is their tomato and mozzarella salad...very tasty!
