My husband is a Marine like most people in the town of Jacksonville, and when we when we found out we were relocating here, a friend of my husband told us to call ABA rentals. I checked out their website which is abarents.com and there was really only 1 neighborhood that looked appealing. wait until after you move here to call these people though. i called a few weeks prior to us moving and got the cold shoulder. i talked to an older woman who wouldn't help me long distance. my husband even called from his ship on his way home froma deployment and they gave him the same treatment. i thought this was very rude but we had no choice but to still go with them. in person they are as sweet as pie though. their rental prices are good although they jack them up every year. even with the increases, they are still by far cheaper than anywhere else and the upkeep and appearence of this neighborhood is by far better than others i've seen. they have another company to handle repairs called Phase 1 and the people are so nice. they usually come within a day or two unless its an emergency and requires same day repairs. that's happened to me and they were here within a couple of hours. we've been here almost 3 years and if we had to do it again, i would have still came to this neighborhood. its clean, quiet, and affordable.
