I do a lot of my grocery shopping at Food Maxx because they are cheaper then many grocery stores in Bakersfield. That's true about their pumpkins too, they are cheaper then any pumpkin patch. Right now they have pumpkins for $2.50 each but they usually go down in price a little bit before Halloween. They have regular size pumpkins, tiny pumpkins, Halloween candy and even a few Halloween costumes. Try to go early though, later in the day it gets busier and you'll be waiting in lines for a while.
