I know this may not appeal to everyone, but for those of us who like sushi, but do not want to spend the money on restaurants, Harris-Teeter is a great alternative.
I found the personnel to be really helpful and they are willing to make a combination, if it is not in stock when you stop by. You cannot beat that for freshness.
They do have a decent selection of rolled sushi as well as the shaped sushi. I like to combine the Harris Teeter sushi with some really good tea and recreate a japanese restaurant experience at home. For the money that I am saving on sushi, I can splurge on a really good desert.
