Pacific Place is a little too upscale to attract the hordes of tourists found at Westlake. Some people come just for its beauty: it has an enormous semi-circular skylight that illuminates the floors below, and an one of its escalator systems brings people from the ground floor to the top in an elegant semi-circular arch. The ground floor courtyard resembles an outdoor dining area with street lamps. And because of all of this, they don't have the usual cheap mall-stores and gut-wrenching food circuits.
