If you have relatives visiting from out of town, or if you want to eat somewhere that feels more like a home than some chain-restaurant, I recommend this quaint but classy place in Madrona. It's set in an old Victorian house, and serves the sort of fare that many of us wished our mothers could have cooked. The place is extremely popular, and is usually packed, especially on Sunday mornings, and at times you may have to wait 45 minutes for a table. But you can purchase the pastries that they bake on site to enjoy with coffee as you wait. And you won't regret the wait.
