eMocha cafe is your definite alternative to Starbucks in Union City. eMocha is an internet cafe that provides coffee, internet access, online video games, and a good time. The place is situated in the business area of Alvarado Niles Rd. between James Logan High School and Union Landing, and is always a nice getaway from the busier parts of the city.
Their coffee is pretty decent, and the workers there are more than happy to make their own drink recommendations or try and duplicate your favorite Starbucks drink. They also have internet acceess available at $3 an hour, and their computers are preloaded with most of today's popular gaming titles... Counter Strike Source, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Doom 3, etc.
eMocha's management is also very friendly, and my friends have thrown several dance parties in their back rooms. If you have an event you want to throw for between 20-100 people, eMocha is definately a great place to consider. their facilities were large enough to accomodate a DJ and dozens of rowdy high school kids.
