The portions here should come with a warning = Big & Bulky. I have a thing for the Brooklyn Diner. Maybe it is the coconut cake. Maybe it is the egg cream. Most likely it is the pasta dishes or the chicken salad club (only served at lunch, so don't get your heart set on it for dinner as I often do). It is probably a combination of all of it, coupled with the comfortable booths. The Brooklyn Diner is a treat for me as I never walk out without spending $20 (for just me). While that is not a huge sum of money (and my tummy is satisfied), it is not something I want to spend everyday on "upscale" diner food. It is almost always crowded/has a wait. The pigs in a blanket are great, but can cause digestive issues in even folks with fairly iron stomachs. more
