This place serves down-home American comfort food in a bar/1950's setting. they've got the formica topped tables and all the features of a 50's kitchen all in the back of a pretty large bar. Go on a Sunday morning for their very reasonably priced brunch. It's all you can eat, with plenty of options to stuff yourself with. The mac and cheese, fried chicken, au gratin potatoes and fresh fruit waffles are the best. The fried chicken is probably my favorite fried chicken. For dinner I suggest the meat loaf. The staff is kind and efficient, which makes it not so bad to wait for a table. You will wait for a table for Sunday brunch unless you get there before the doors open
