Pat's Steaks is the better of the two famous Philly steak places at 9th and Passayunk. Open 24 hours a day, the staff is quick and friendly, and the prices are better values than at the competition. The lack of gaudy signs that blind you from a block away actually adds to the atmosphere, as you don't feel like you're eating in some futuristic space station where they use lights to keep ghosts away. Plus, their actual meat and rolls just plain taste better.
