Okay, folks, time to get up off the couch and make a difference. The folks at Bonfils make donating blood a downright pleasant experience-and that's not including the free snacks you can munch on while you're there. At both their centers and their mobile sites, I have been treated with courtesy and respect every time I show up to donate. it takes less than an hour to donate whole blood (way less in most cases) and it's painless and satisfying. Blood supplies constantly need replenishing so get to it--it doesn't cost anything, and you can help our the folks who really need it. They even give ya free stuff--I have a nifty hat and scarf from donating this past winter.
