I will never eat here again - I was very disapointed and for several reasons. The restaurant looked nice enough and I love places with outdoor patios. It wasn't exactly "romantic" but it was close. The heat lamps were a nice touch. When I first saw the menu I thought "Great Selection- looks like they have good food here" but I turned out to be wrong.. Now for the "cons" 1 - The selection was awful, as was the service. I asked for 3 different (common) drinks before they had one I liked. I don't drink soda so every restaurant I go to I get an Iced Tea. I have never seen a restaurant that doesn't have Iced Tea - and I eat out alot. First I asked for Raspberry Iced Tea which they have at almost every restaurant. They didn't have it so I ordered an orange juice. 5 Minutes later I was informed they didn't have any orange juice either. So I asked for a regular Iced Tea only to be told they only had Passion Fruit. I ended up getting a $3 half-glass of apple juice. This may seem picky but I don't like restaurants that don't have common things, or are out of things. I ordered a pizza and a cheese quesidilla. They brought me a chicken quesidilla. I had to flag them down again and tell them I had ordered a cheese one. They said ok and they left. 5 minutes later they send someone else to tell us they didn't have cheese even though it was right on the menu. They then told us they couldn't give it to us because it was on the Kid's Menu. I've never been told I couldn't get someting off of the Kid's Menu - most places don't have a problem with it. But when my fiance offered to pay full price for the Kid's size cheese quesidilla they said yes. I did not accept this offer, I did not want to pay $10 for a tiny tortilla and cheese. 2 - The food was terrible and over-priced. The pizza was incredibly thin, small, and very burnt. It was the worst pizza I had ever eaten. And it was $12. The bottom of the plate was filled with blackish-green burnt grease. EW. The French Fries were under-cooked. The bill was around $40 and I felt very cheated. I did not eat good at all. 3 - The waitress was not very attentive at all. We had a show to get to and we had to wait almost 15 minutes for her to walk by so we could get the bill. She never once checked on us for a refill or to see if everything was ok. My husband likes to get alot of refills - often at least 3 or 4. We had to wait and flag her down every time. This is very important to me and gets on my nerves when I get bad service. At my favorite restaurant (Bennigans - see my other review) they are very attentive and check on you often - even when they are busy. more
