Ft. McHenry is a must-see for all visitors to Baltimore. The interpretative center and fort are both great, because you pretty much get to explore the entire area on your own. One of the best parts of Ft. McHenry, however, is the park and walking trail that surrounds the fort. If you go during the late afternoon and stay until the last water taxi, you'll be treated to one of the most spectacular sunsets you've ever seen. My wife and our close friends even packed a picnic lunch one afternoon and enjoyed a great view of the harbor and a little bit of history.
