Typical non service oriented company 3/21/2006

When we recently moved, I wanted to stay with Bright house for our services. I didn't want the hassle of a new email by changing internet providers, etc. So why not go with them for cable also and do a package deal. Our new house had never been wired for cable though. The first time i called in I was quoted a truly outrageous price for hookup and service. I refused. I looked around online and found a coupon for those who switch from satellite to cable. i called back in - after all that was what the house had been on before. They didn't want to give me the deal, after threatening not to use them at all, they finally agreed. It took three weeks and several phone calls to actually get hooked up and working. Then when I called back in again, because I was charged for hook up anyway, I was finally given someone who CARED. They took off the charge and even recommended a way to cut costs on my package. It just frustrates me that it took that many calls to get someone to do something for me. more
