This time I shopped the Jeffersonville, IN location.
I entered the shop for my 10am oil change appointment. They were quite busy! I should have thought about that before making a Monday appointment!
Putting it aside that it was bad timing, everything went smoothly. If you go to their website at www.kentowery.com you can print out their latest coupons. Their oil change is typically $21.99 at this location, but with coupon it was $16.99 and included free tire rotation. He offered it with the coupon and I accepted it. Upon payment, however, they had an even better special. He gave me that special instead and I left paying $13 and some change for an oil change, inspection AND tire rotation!
During the oil change they do an inspection. Upon leaving they summed up the inspection (all was good) and gave me a copy of it.
I saw several employees on the location working busily. I mostly talked to one employee who was friendly and kept me updated on the progress of my car. I didn't even have to ask! It did take a little longer than normal- it usually takes only 30 minutes, but it took about an hour. In their defense, they were quite busy. I saw at least 6 cars being taken into the garage just while I was there. They bays were full the whole time with employees busy at work!
I have been a Ken Towery customer for some time and have been to several locations in the Kentuckiana area as well as in Berea, KY. I have never had a complaint with them yet.
They accept appointments and walk-ins. I prefer to do an appointment as that way they are prepared for me and have a slot available for me.
