Extremities, unlike the many other nail salons you'll see scattered around DC and other cities, is extremely, extremely clean. Everyone here knows what they're doing and they keep their equipment immaculate. Some salons, for instance, do not seem to keep their pedicure equipment clean, but this one does. And they'll do a good job. Waxing and other services are available here too. Also, you might not expect a soothing atmosphere in a place that's getting so many people in and out all day, but here, the decor is restful and pleasant. The prices aren't bad either, particularly compared with what you'd expect to pay for the same services at other beauty salons in downtown DC.
