On those popular Waterfront summer nights, Tony & Joe's seems to be the place to be. I honestly don't know why, but for some reason the young DC professionals flock to this outdoor bar more than the other available options. It makes it a pretty tight squeeze within the roped off limits, which I think negates the purpose of being outside.
As for the dining experience, they offer great seafood, but it's a bit pricey. The service is just okay.
All in all, I'd say it's a fine place, but pretty overrated.
