As far as more formal dining places go, the Lobster House is considered by some locals to be a bit fancy. I however, am inclined to disagree. The food here is not cuisine but rather breaded and fried whenever possible. They seem to have an Itailian theme to most of their dishes, but the flavors are not very tuned and seem to be overcompensating for the lack of freshness of the ingredients. The help here is mostly from the local colleges- meaning service comes with attitude and a lack of professionalism. This restaurant is not worth the hassle to get a reservation nor the price of the entrees- even though they are not that expensive.
