The Old North Church is located in the heart of Boston's historic North End. It is here that two lanterns were hung in the steeple to signal Paul Revere that the British were coming by sea back in the days of the American Revolution. It is open to the public for free tours and has a nice collection of art and artifacts from Revolutionary times. The church itself still holds mass on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings and has a large following of parishioners.
