Sotta Sopra, the quaint Italian restaurant in Mt. Vernon, is a bit too much for my taste. I found the wait staff very pretentious and unhappy to deal with a group larger than four. Granted, we were a pretty large party, but we had called ahead and made reservations.
Food wise, the entrées were good but not life-changing. For real Italian cuisine, go to Little Italy. However, if you're looking to hobnob with the socialites, this might be the place for you.
