Caffe Gelato is a wonderful little bistro on the main street in Newark. With both a sleek dining room and quaint covered patio, this upscale bistro is great for a dinner out. Their panini grills are delicious, and gelato is smooth and creamy. I especially like their gourmet brunch menu-- omlettes and crepes are wonderful! The prices are a little on the steep side, so visit on special occasions. They also host a number of "tasting dinners" for beer and wine; experts come in and lecture about the featured product while diners are treated to a 5 or 6 course meal pairing.
