With the help of a local boyscout troup, the Community Energy Project has opened a new store onsite to provide affordable energy conservation tools to home owners.
Their offerings range from storm-window coverings to calkings to ecologically responsible detergents.
Historically in Portland, these items have only been available to low income residents and at a very high cost to more well-to-do residents but the average joe simply couldn't afford them. Now they can.
