If I'm in a hurry and I don't have anything for lunch, Bale Sandwiches is a good place to go for a quick Vietnamese sandwich. All of their sandwiches come on a baguette with your choice of filling (I personally like their BBQ pork or their charbroiled meatball). You can choose if you want it spicy with chilies too. Bale was one of the first Vietnamese sandwich shops in the area near Valley Blvd. and is facing more competition from all the other shops, but it is one of the cheapest (they also don't charge tax). They always run out of egg rolls, so if you want to try them, you have to go before lunch time.
